Today my wife send her Peugeot - 408 turbo, car plate no. PLG6106 to Butterworth (Bagan Ajam) service centre about 12.15 pm due to coolant leakage for last 2 days (Sunday and Monday was public holiday).The service in charge personal request her to wait and advice her its will take 3 hours to solve the problem.Around 4.15 pm almost after 4 hours when my wife went and check to the in charge personal he said the parts is not available. Need to order.Why its takes them about 4 hours just to find out the is no parts available.We also do not know how many days its going to take for Peugeot to solve this problem? How about our transportation for next few days? This type of excuse is really being a night mare for us.(Other than this some other problem also guide frequently happen to this model)We really very upset with this type of service and this car model.Since we purchase we really not happy with the service and errors which keep on incurring in this car. We really very upset and even denied some of my friends and relatives intention to purchase Peugeot.Other than that when we purchase a car there was a service centre nearby(I am in Bedong,Kedah and previous service centre was at Sungai Petani,Kedah - about 10 kms). Now the service centre was closed and and we have to drive to Butterworth almost 40kms away from my home. Just imagine that every time when the problem is unsolved we much is my traveling time and cost just to send my car. I hope the Peugeot will provide the right answers asap. They said cooling coil leaking.
I was turned down by the SC in PJ.
What's the guarantee for 5 years is for?

ReplyDeleteI bought my Peugeot car in August 2013 ( WXG 2224)because I wanted a stable, safe car. This was despite reservations from family and few friends who were sceptical with my decision. Now moving fast forward, I having problems with the car i.e. engine wobbling sound, speed cannot go beyond 100 km and cannot go outstation. According to your mechanic the car engine need "top overhaul". My argument is since the car comes with a 5 year warranty including engine kindly do the needful to rectify the issues in hand . I have an appointment this morning at 11 am for service at your Batu 9 Cheras Branch and hope something can be done to resolve the problem once and for all. Please note that my car is only less than 4 years old and am still servicing my loan. Kindly assist. Thank You
